The Steering Committee of the HAEMUS International Research Network is pleased to invite you to its second international workshop, which will take place on 12-13 November 2026 in the Grand Hall of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, 35 Kneza Mihaila Street, Belgrade, Serbia.

Organised by Vujadin Ivanišević, Dominic Moreau, Nadežda Gavrilović-Vitas, Snežana Golubović, Ivan Bugarski and Ivan Gargano, the workshop will bring together scholars to discuss the following topic:

Shifting Settlement Patterns: Methodological Approaches to Urban and Rural Agglomerations in the Late Roman Balkans (3rd–7th c.)
